The idea is good and effective as far as ash catching is concerned. However, there needs to be improvement in the area of the hole so as to catch down the ashes within the crevice. The placement of 2 hole restricts the ashes to completely fall within. So an improvement in the design need to be done for more effective. Otherwise, the idea is good, especially the merry go round.

I bought this some time ago. It is a good product, but is very susceptible to staining from hot ash of the agarbati. also the swivel joint (mery-go-round) was jammed when i got it. i really had to force it open. it still gets a little jammed when i close it. Otherwise it is a good product.
